History:

KR Audio could really say it was conceptualized in the late 1950's.
It was then as a student helping his professor, Prof. Cicogna who installed the mono amplifier system in Toscanini's Milan house, young Riccardo Kron asked why even the best tube  have their values drift over time.
The reason of course was basically because of the mass produced manufacturing system.
Over his working career at Deutsche Grammophon and then at Magnadyne, an Italian tube and radio/tv company, this problem never left his mind:

It was only after the fall of communism that he was able to find a research and development team from the TESLA LABORATORIES in the Czech  Republic who were able to develop the hand-crafted vacuum tube made only for audio purposes.

This innovation used improved material, higher vacuum and very high quality control to achieve his aims; a very reliable vacuum tube which would give more dynamics, finer resolution from the recording and an almost tangible imaging.

The company, KR AUDIO Electronic SRO started as a tube manufacturer, but KR went on to develop world class amplifiers using a reverse hybrid system with the application of these excellent tubes to give the listener an enhanced musical experience.


Most notable is the Kronzilla tube KR T-1610, A DOUBLE TRIODE IN PARALLEL - rated as the largest audio or vacuum tube ever produced and which has continued to a sound revered by reviewers and audiophiles alike.
